New Balance Abzorb 2000 Black Grey

Tapping into the early-2000s "tech-runner" trend, the New Balance Abzorb 2000 Black Grey is a masterclass in industrial performance design. The upper features a complex mix of open-cell mesh and synthetic overlays in a sophisticated Black/Dark Silver Metallic/Light Chrome Blue palette, sitting atop a midsole that utilizes full-length ABZORB technology for superior shock absorption. Released on July 10, 2025, for $170, it features the signature technical architecture that made the 2000 a cult favorite. Our experts highlight the "Light Chrome Blue" hits; they provide a refreshing athletic pop against the dark anthracite base. It’s a balanced and highly technical design that successfully honors New Balance’s running heritage while offering a modern and approachable aesthetic for daily urban wear, prioritizing both functional toughness and all-day comfort.
